Northeast Air is please to announce it has signed an agreement with Garrett Aviation Services for the installation of their RVSM solution in Cessna Citation 500 series aircraft. This program currently includes the 500, 501, 550, 551 and 560 models. (exceptions are the first 275 serial number 500’s and the S550)

Garrett Aviation Services has authorized Northeast Air to install their system, which will include two (2) Innovative Solutions & Support Air Data Display units, two (2) IS&S “P” Modules, an IS&S Analog/Digital Interface Unit and an installation kit with wire harness. The ADDU is a self-sensing Digital Air Data Computing Altimeter with altitude alerting, while the AIU provides the autopilot and navigational equipment interface.

The basic Citation RVSM solution developed by Garrett Aviation Services, offered and installed by Northeast Air is typically $10,000 to $20,000 less than a package offered by the manufacturer. This installation has the added advantage of two (2) identical new altimeters rather than re-using the pilot’s altimeter, as other solutions require. This provides redundancy, eliminates potential compatibility problems and makes troubleshooting easier.

The Citation RVSM solutions are available for immediate installation at Northeast Air’s Portland facility.
