Dear Sir or Madam:
Northeast Air has developed a Supplemental Type Change (“STC”) for installation in your Citation 500 equipped with the FGS-70 Autopilot. The purpose of the STC is to ensure that this aircraft complies with the Federal Aviation Administration’s Mandated Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum requirement (“RVSM”) by the January 20, 2005 deadline. Northeast Air has applied to the FAA for an STC allowing the ADC’s to be installed in order to comply with the RVSM requirement.
The suggested installed price for this STC is $99,500.00 on most aircraft. The time required to install this STC may very but generally you should it to take about one to two weeks in most facilities
In order to participate in this program, you would pay Northeast Air $30,000 to reserve a place in line for the STC kit. Northeast Air will deliver the kits in the same order in which it received the reservation fee, i.e., if you reservation fee is received first, then you will have the opportunity to have the STC kit delivered first. You will be notified upon receipt of the STC. And the finial payment is due prior to shipping.
Northeast Air does not and cannot guarantee that the FAA will grant the STC applicable to your aircraft. If Northeast Air does not obtain an STC applicable to your aircraft, the $30,000 you paid will be returned to you.
