Northeast Air Citation 500 ADC-8000 RVSM FAQs

 

Northeast Air has successfully completed testing of the Citation pre 275 ADC-8000.

Performance was EXCELLENT!! The hardware configuration is set and final stages of production development are ongoing.  We are pleased to remind you of the five-year warranty offered with this solution.

 

 

When will the STC become available?   

 

STC package is expected to be completed in the 3rd quarter. Equipment will become available at approximately the same time.

 

 

What are the costs of the RVSM STC kit?  

 

$92,000 uninstalled dealer-customer list price 

$99,500 installed customer list price.

 

As with any STC program there may be unforeseen engineering or FAA required changes that might affect the final price. We have a high level of confidence our pricing will be stable, and if an adjustment becomes necessary customers will be notified immediately.

 

 

Who is authorized to install the ADC-8000 RVSM system?

 

Northeast Air will sell the RVSM system to qualified shops only. It will not be for sale directly to the end customer due to quality and liability issues.

 

Are there any available options?

 

At this time we plan to move the RVSM system to market in a basic design. An altitude pre-selector option will be made available in the 4th quarter, given sufficient customer interest to justify development cost.

 

What payment or deposit options are available?

 

$33,000 deposit holds a production line position of which $10,000 is a schedule deposit for Northeast Air to install your kit. Note: Due to advance schedule requirements, this $10,000 is non refundable. A second payment of $33,000 will be due when the scheduled aircraft arrives at Northeast Air.

$30,000 holds a production line position, $10,000 nonrefundable, for qualified shops to purchase and install the Northeast Air RVSM STC.

With either option all balances plus are due at aircraft delivery or equipment delivery.

 

What happens to the various deposits if for some reason Northeast Air can not bring the RVSM system to market?

 

Should the RVSM STC program not come to market by FAA mandate date, all deposits will be refunded upon request.
